Because the subject is clearly [[WP:Verifiable]], the page did not qualify for [[WP:A7]] speedy deletion, IMHO. The sourcing is still quite weak; academics don't get as much respect as you might think at AfD, often lacking coverage from multiple in-depth and independent sources. See [[WP:PROF]]. I'd fortify this page as best you can before somebody nominates it. Academic book reviews may help.
